Within the framework of the Y-CARE Youth-Centered Approaches for Resilience and Empowerment project, Peer Support Network Groups are currently being established in each partner country. These groups aim is to provide supportive spaces for professionals working with young people.
The main objective of the Peer Support Network is to offer a safe, reflective, and accessible environment where youth professionals can meet regularly and exchange experiences from their daily practice. The sessions are designed to connect personal and professional perspectives, which allows participants to better understand their emotional responses and strengthen their resilience. Each meeting is based on a shared activity that serves as a starting point for reflection, emotional awareness, self-regulation, and mutual learning.
The Peer Support Network Groups are open to youth workers, social workers, facilitators, educators, counselors, and other professionals who work with young people in emotionally demanding environments. The initiative is particularly relevant for those who wish to strengthen their well-being while continuing to provide high-quality support to young people.
We encourage all interested professionals to contact the Y-CARE project partners in their respective countries in order to receive more information and to join a local Peer Support Network Group. By participating in these groups, professionals can become part of an international initiative that promotes resilience, empowerment, and mutual support across Europe.
