New Infographics on Youth Workers’ Mental Health and Resilience

As part of the Y-CARE – Youth-Centered Approaches for Resilience and Empowerment project, we have created a series of infographics that visually present key findings on youth workers’ mental health and resilience.

The visuals make complex data clear, engaging, and accessible for everyone interested in youth work and well-being.

One striking insight shows that 88% of youth workers agree their work performance is affected by their mental well-being, while over half (53.2%) feel emotionally drained after a day at work.

The infographics highlight major sources of pressure in youth work — including stress, emotional strain, administrative overload, and the emotional burden of supporting vulnerable groups. They also emphasize the need for more tools and resources to help youth workers manage stress effectively.

The main goal of this initiative is to foster a supportive and resilient environment for youth workers, helping them cope with professional challenges and strengthen their well-being.

The infographics are now available on the project’s official website Y-CARE – Youth-Centered Approaches for Resilience and Empowerment.
